The MagicPad application we blogged about before is now available from the iTunes App Store! It is developed by Proximi.     MagicPad is an application that is similar to the Notes application found on the iPhone, adding select, copy / paste and rich text formatting to the application. This time it's actually a working application. It works but doesn't look nice and easy enough to be the solution. I bet Apple will come out with something similar in a future software update, but better. The interface, software and multi touch engineer(s) working on copy / paste at Apple's iPhone group have probably been sent back to the coding board several times by mr. I have seen them before on concert tickets and in Japan. What I did not know was that there are people hoping these things will be everywhere, on everything, connecting the virtual and physical world. I am talking about these high tech, square, pixelated barcodes. The website p8t.ch offers a product and a service;  you can buy a patch and link it to your own website, youtube video or whatever. Wear it on your favorite jacket, jeans, backpack and share whatever you want to share with same-minded people (the geeks who know what a p8tch is ;)) With iPhones/smartphones equiped with high-res cameras and internet are becoming increasingly popular, faster and easier to use, this service has potential to become big. There is an app on in the iTunes app store called 2D Sense which can be used to 'scan' the patches of a photograph made with you iPhone. Via [core77] via [boing boing]

I am about to hit the bed, but then I realized I haven't contributed anything to iphonenilla yet....and I am not feeling like getting my mac out to write a post...so with the new app store and a wordpress application I don't need a computer anymore... In a matter of minutes I installed the app, set up iphonenilla, and am now writing this article; eezeepeezeelemonsqueezee!! Well, for advanced article writing I'd still have to go to my computer. Copy paste, downloading and uploading images and other media isn't one of the features (yet) in the iPhone. Generation 4.0 will, or perhaps the Macbook touch :) Well, I am out! (and yes this is the first post written and published on an iPhone!!! Isn't it great!!)

"Yes, but no but yes" Well there actually isn't any short answer on this one yet. There are many sources on the internet speculating that "Yes it is possible to run flash on an iPhone" and  "it will be here very soon"  to "as soon as Adobe will make it publicly available". Although Adobe has officially announced that they already have a running version and will release it, there's still no word on the street when that day might actually be. Concerning Flash on the iPhone. Most of the times when you read how much people are disappointed by Apple by the absence of Flash and how that sucks, people actually mean "What the crap Steve. Why the hell can't I still watch my daily dose of streaming video delights". Especially after the firmware 2 update. What about the iPhone sporting a fully capable browser on a cell phone. The first in its kind. Not without Flash it is. But folks, where will all this crazy talk get us. Nowhere, at least certainly not closer to flash support or streamy delights as I like to call it. According to MacRumors Apple's Mobile Me service will launch July 9th between 6pm and 12am Pacific Time. What a coincidence, just in time for the global iPhone release : ) We are really curious how well it will play together with the iPhone and Mac. Expect some in depth posts about this in the future!
